THE COURSE
The Certified Pool/Spa Operator® certification program has delivered more training than any other program in the pool and spa industry since 1972, resulting in more than 282,000 successful CPO® certifications in 64 countries. (according to nspf.org) The CPO® Training Course teaches an abundance of information to train staff members or individuals required to work with pools. It covers topics such as pool and spa chemistry and calculations, state and federal regulations, energy conservation, water sanitizing and testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and much more. Upon successful completion, participants will have a better understanding of an operator's role in pool management and care. The course takes two consecutive days to complete with an open book, open note test at the end.

THE INSTRUCTOR
Brian Diglio has been servicing pools in Connecticut for 25 years and is the President of Blue Wave Pool Service and Supplies located in Hamden, CT. Blue Wave Pool has been awarded the service company award of excellence for five years in a row by the Northeast Spa and Pool Association. Brian has twice served as the President of the Connecticut chapter of the APSP, Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, and now heads the education committee. He is an instructor for the APSP Tech One and Tech Two classes. He also has helped the state as a subject matter expert for their license testing and has spoken at health department classes. He is a National Swimming Pool Foundation certified pool operator, inspector and instructor.
